²²Ilmakunnas et al. (2024) examine the distribution of pensions accruing from academic degrees using register data. According to the results, pension accrual from degrees benefits those with the largest total pensions the most in euro terms on average. The relative effect, however, is distributed fairly evenly across total pension deciles.
