Two new council members to start their term on April 1
The Government has appointed Johanna Wallenius from the Stockholm School of Economics and Professor Juha Junttila from Oulu University Business School as new members of the Finnish Economic Policy Council, based on a proposal by the Ministry of Finance. The new members will start their term on April 1, 2025.
Professor Niku Määttänen from the University of Helsinki will continue as the Chair of the Economic Policy Council. Professor Tuukka Saarimaa from Aalto University and Professor Liisa Häikiö from the University of Tampere will continue as council members.
