The Finnish Economic Policy Council will publish its annual assessment of the government’s economic policy and the sustainability of public finances on Monday, 2 February 2026. The report will be available on the council’s website at 10 am. The report will be in Finnish. An English translation of the report will be published in March.

A seminar discussing the report will be held on the day of publication.

During the seminar, the Chair of the Finnish Economic Policy Council, Professor Niku Määttänen, will present the new report. Comments on the report will be provided by Finance Minister Riikka Purra and Mauri Kotamäki, Chief Economist at Finnvera.
